SALE! Through November, Jizziebelle: Belle of the Burlesque is 75% Off!
Lots of things have been happening here at Chez Crimson!
Thank you to everyone who helped me choose a new cover for Jizziebelle – you all have great taste! And your input was invaluable to me. I truly appreciate that you took the time to provide that input.
Right now, I’m working on the final chapters of Dot Matrix: Mistress of the Stage, which is why I’ve decided to place such a huge discount on Jizziebelle.
Jizziebelle is the story of a shy writer, named Jocelyn Belle, who breaks out of her shell when she courageously takes a job as a burlesque dancer. Fate brings her together with her biggest fan, Ryan ‘Sin’ Mastersen and sparks fly!
Dot Matrix is the second book in the Hardwood’s Harlots Burlesque Romance series. It focuses on several characters who were first introduced in book 1: Dottie (Delilah Brooks) and Marcus Hale.
The thing that’s been so fun for me, while writing book 2 is that it’s given me an opportunity to elaborate and expand on characters I’d already started to become invested in during the writing of Jizziebelle. There’s a lot of history involved in book 2. We get to see some back story on Mimi, Dottie’s best friend (the owner of Hardwood’s Burlesque), specifically how they first meet and become friends. We also get a glimpse into many of the events in Dottie’s past that helped – for better or worse – to shape her into who she ultimately becomes.
I was hoping to be finished with writing by Halloween. The good news is that I hid my target word count by my goal date. The bad news is that I’m already 10K words over it and I’m still not quite finished. Furthermore, I think there will be a lot of edits that need to be made. When I say edits, I’m not just talking about typos and grammar; There are a lot of points in the story that weren’t completely fleshed out when I initially wrote them. The ideas need to be expanded upon and the details need to be fleshed out before I’ll be ready to unveil a story I can be completely satisfied with.
I had hoped to have a release out this holiday season, but I’m not sure that will happen now because I don’t want to rush to put my book out (just to meet that self-imposed deadline) before I feel its truly ready to be unveiled.
I promise to keep everyone updated on the status of Dot Matrix and I’ll let you know when I have a firm release date for her.
But for now, you can get ready for Dot Matrix, by grabbing your very much discounted copy – only 99 Cents – of Jizziebelle, before she goes back to her original price of $3.99 (available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iTunes and more) https://books2read.com/u/3LrRyJ
I hope you enjoy, and I hope you’ll consider leaving a review for me on Amazon – even if it’s just a few words.
